inauguration day;
a day of mixed emotions for me .
today is the day the USA gets the first african american president.
even though im only 15 years old, and do not know overly much about politics as of right now, i am sure the USA will go in the right direction with Barack Obama leading.
hopefully, the rest of the world will follow him and his example.
today, would be the 17th birthday of Becky, an extended member of my family. Becky died last year, from a heart attack .
she died the morning of what was supposed to be her first day in high school.
also today, is the 5 month anniversary of my guardian angel's death. Tigger, you will always be missed and loved dearly, babe.

TIGGER

you couldnt talk to me
but i took comfort kn
owing you were by my side
i dont know if you understood me
but i do know that you tried

the tattoo on my shoulder
will keep you here with me forever
and the memories in my heart
will never ever fade away

you weren't even human
but you were my best friend
you had gentle eyes filled with innocence
you were carefree and now you can fly

you're somewhere sitting on a rainbow
chasing after a butterfly
and im wishing you were here now
but i wont let this be goodbye

dedicated to my guardian angel, Tigger. rest in peace my lover .
Tigger is my cat. I had him for six years, and he passed away on August 20, 2008.
He was and always will
be the best friend i've ever had

POLKA DOT WORLD
even though we're living in a polka dot world,
with its polka dot boys and its polka dot girls,
there will be a certain somebody, who some will think is queer
somebody who decides that they want to be a square.

This is probably my favorite poem that I wrote, mostly because of it's humor and truth.
I wrote this poem to help show you that even though there are a lot of plastic clones in our world, there are still the ones who are unique, and do not care what others think about it.
